My father is heavily involved in non sports cards, so I had the good fortune to come across this comic book gem in the non sports card trade magazine entitled “The Wrapper”. There is a bi-monthly comic strip created just for fans of non sports cards. For those not in the know, non-sports cards are baseball cards for movies and tv shows, like cards for Welcome Back Kotter or CHiPs or Charlies Angels.

Got the guys coming over tonight for the initial cast. We have a mixer that looks like it could launch a ham into orbit, a couple mics and very little knowledge on how to use any of this shit. Should be interesting.

Here is a quick rundown of how things will run…how they’re SUPPOSED to run…
1. We’ll randomly choose a topic from a hat. The topics can be submitted by any of us or any of you.
2. All participants get one veto per cast. To exercise your veto, for whatever reason, all you have to say is “Alright Already!”. Though no explanation is needed, we can rant about why we vetoed if we like.
3. Alcohol is almost mandatory.
4. Fun is mandatory.
5. When in question, refer to #4.
6. If #4 can solve the problem, refer to #3.

So starting tmrrw we shall foist upon this world our evil brain child of who knows what brand of jackassery….I for one fear for sober minds,  timid souls,  and perhaps our eventual incarceration.  I will not guarantee anyone’s enjoyment, freedom from the “vapors”, or the general moral discomfort in the realization that you may have experienced a human emotion known as  “shame”. (More of you need to try it…I’m talking to you Hipsters.)   That being said: Come one and all and have a listen! You too will soon be screaming “Alright Already!!”
